Savannah Larimore received her doctorate in Sociology from the University of Washington. She studies the social causes of racial and ethnic health disparities in the US. Her current research investigates the associations between structural inequality and infant and maternal health outcomes. She is also involved in other projects related to the social determinants of health across numerous outcomes and in various contexts. At Washington University, Savannah is working with Hedy Lee from the Sociology Department on projects investigating associations between area-level measures of racial discrimination and health outcomes.
