Christian Maddox is from Jacksonville, Arkansas and his preferred pronouns are he, him, they/them. Christian enjoys reading, writing, playing video games, and volunteering within his local community in his free time. One of his goals while in graduate school is to become a better scholar and become more engaged locally with my work with local clubs, organizations, and activist networks.
Christian’s post-graduate goals are to become a public sociologist and activist scholar by being a professor or researcher and engaging with the local community in organizations focused on issues of racial, class, and gender discrimination and exploitation.
His research interests are Race, Gender, Queerness, Black Social Movements, and Black Feminism.
