Clark Randall studies systems and histories of race, housing, and municipal finance. His work is concerned, specifically, with the consolidation of the urban planner profession and the creation of budgetary norms at the local level. 

 

Clark received a BA from Washington University in St. Louis in African and African American Studies in 2016 and is finishing his MA from Humboldt University in Berlin in Global History. Clark is a Harvey Fellow in American Culture Studies and a member of the 2022 cohort of scholars for the Divided Cities Initiative.
