Candace Hall

Academic Program Coordinator

As the academic program coordinator for the Department of Sociology, Candace wears many hats. She works closely with faculty and staff to provide a broad range of support for teaching and research endeavors. She supports undergraduate students with major/minor declaration process and assists students in navigating program requirements. Additionally, she coordinates all department events and advises Alpha Kappa Delta, the international sociology honor society. 

Candace is driven by the growth of her students throughout their time at WashU. She works tirelessly to create a welcoming environment where students are motivated to learn and engage with faculty outside of the classroom. Her favorite event to coordinate is the late-night study sesh where students gather in the Sociology suite to snack and study during finals.

A St. Louis native, Candace received her BA in English at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and her MA in Communication Arts through the School of Education at Webster University.
