The Race, Space, and Place (RSP) Workshop is an interdisciplinary workshop housed in the Sociology Department. RSP brings together faculty and graduate students working on race, space, or place and their intersections. Each workshop session involves involves in-depth discussion of a work-in-progress by a workshop member. Students taking the workshop for credit (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory) must participate in all workshop sessions as attendees and must serve as a discussant for at least one workshop session during the semester. Students participating in the workshop for multiple semesters will be asked to present their work as related to Race, Space, and/or Place. The workshop is available to Sociology graduate students as a 1-credit course.
