Sports & Society Reading Group with Guest Presenter Amira Rose Davis

The Sports & Society reading group will meet on Friday, October 16 at 3:00 PM on Zoom. Dr. Amira Rose Davis, an acclaimed academic and co-host of the excellent feminist sports podcast “Burn it All Down” has agreed to join us to discuss two of Dr. Davis's articles, "No League of Their Own: Baseball, Black Women, and the Politics of Representation” and "No More Games: Understanding the Latest Wave of Athletic Activism” - as well as other topics of interest.
