RESCHEDULED: SOC Student Field Trip: Guided Tour of "Moving Narratives" Exhibit

How can narratives – visual, textual, and oral -- bridge divides between migrants and the communities in which they settle?

Join us for an off-campus field trip to the newly-opened Luminary exhibit: Moving Stories and find out!

Friday, March 1 @ 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Meet at 11:00 a.m. in the Sociology Suite (Seigle 213)

Prof. Ariela Schachter, WashU Sociology faculty member and project collaborator, will provide a guided tour of the exhibit, which "brings together the work of local and national artists who craft narratives of migration and holds space for migrants and those affected by migration to tell their stories." Sociology faculty and graduate students will also be present as participants.

Open to all students enrolled in Sociology coursework, but especially encouraged for SOC majors/minors - particularly if you're interested in migration, race/ethnicity, inequality, and/or community studies!

Free, transportation to be provided.
Space is limited, so reserve your seat now!
