Pizza with the Profs

Pizza with the Profs is an opportunity for students to casually gather with Sociology faculty members outside of the classroom over lunch.

Join members of the WashU Sociology faculty as we host our Fall Pizza with the Profs luncheon!

Held as a set of small group discussions, this event is an opportunity for students to connect with their professors on a more interpersonal level, to learn about their work outside of the classes they teach, and to discover what sociologists actually DO on a day-to-day basis. More so, professors are eager to get to know their students! The September PWP event will be hosted by Profs. Caity Collins, Patrick Ishizuka, and Elizabeth Korver-Glenn, with complimentary pizza (what else?) served to all participants.

We especially encourage first-year and transfer students enrolled in Sociology coursework to attend, but this event welcomes all sociologically-minded undergraduate students, including current SOC majors and minors.

Space is limited to the first 25 students registered (or in attendance), so reserve a seat - and a slice - by RSVP-ing through the link below or by e-mailing sociology@wustl.edu with your name, e-mail, and any dietary restrictions we should consider.
