Late Night Study Sessions
Hosted semesterly as a tradition of the WashU Department of Sociology, Late Night Study Sessions offer a space for students to hit the books in a low-pressure, community setting during the pre-finals Reading Days holiday. During the evenings of December 9 - 11, the Sociology Suite will transform into a voluntary study "lock-in," with snacks, stress-relieving activities, peer, TA, and faculty support, attendance prizes, and other fun surprises to keep students motivated as they prepare for their final exams. Bring your friends and bunker down with a study group - or get in the zone in one of our dedicated quiet rooms.
Each night, the LNSS will run from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m., way past the usual operating hours of the Sociology Suite. This event is open to all WashU students, but we highly encourage those who are Sociology majors or minors, or who are enrolled in a Sociology course, to attend for one - or all three - nights!
