Bear Beginnings: Sociology Open House

Every year, we welcome the hundreds of newly-arrived first-year and transfer students to our campus home. As a part of the broader Bear Beginnings programming, the WashU Department of Sociology will be hosting a departmental Open House on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Seigle Hall, Suite 213.

During this event, new students will have the opportunity to meet with Sociology faculty, staff, and current students and learn more about the countless opportunities available through our program. Bring your friends and bring your curiosity - find out exactly why students have claimed us to be the "hidden gem" of the University.

(Join us later in the day for Prof. Caity Collins' Faculty Spotlight presentation, "Understanding the Origins and Reproduction of Social Inequalities"!)
